Tom Sykes held his position at the front of the pack in the Bennetts British Superbike Championship warm up session at Donington Park, posting the fastest lap for the MCE Ducati team by 0.253s.
Yesterday’s eBay Sprint Race winner fired to the top of the times to hold the advantage from Andrew Irwin on the SYNETIQ BMW and Peter Hickman on the FHO Racing BMW.
Danny Buchan was fourth fastest as he held off Leon Haslam on the VisionTrack Kawasaki in the closing stages with championship leader Bradley Ray in sixth place.
Josh Brookes was seventh fastest on the MCE Ducati ahead of the Honda Racing UK pairing of Ryo Mizuno and Glenn Irwin with Ryan Vickers completing the top ten.
