The entire Bennetts British Superbike Championship paddock came together this afternoon to remember Chrissy Rouse, who tragically lost his life following an accident at Donington Park.
Event officials, riders, teams, marshals and many more members of the Bennetts BSB community joined members of Chrissy’s family and closest friends on the grid at Brands Hatch to commemorate a personality who was popular across the wider motorcycle-racing world.
The tribute, which featured two of Chrissy’s race bikes, including his 2020 Superstock title-winning Crowe Performance BMW, featured 69 seconds of silent reflection ahead of a round of applause.
The BSB community also took a moment to remember seven-time Motorcycle Grand Prix champion Phil Read and World Supersport rider Victor Steeman who both passed away last week.
