FHO Racing expands support for female racers in 2023

24 November 2022

FHO Racing has expanded its support of up-and-coming female racers, with five talented girls now under the FHO Racing banner for the 2023 season in British Championship racing.

Continuing with FHO Racing for another season, Holly Harris moves up from the Honda British Talent Cup class, to join Jamie Hanks-Elliott and Scarlett Robinson in the HEL British Junior Supersport Championship.

Joining the FHO Girls next season, Denise Dal Zotto completes the Supersport quartet alongside Holly, Jamie and Scarlett, with Kate Walker moving up from Thundersport GB to take part in the all-new BMW F 900 R Cup.

FHO Racing Team Principal, Faye Ho is committed to supporting females in motorsport by providing a platform where they can showcase their racing talent. Leading the way in the Bennetts British Superbike Championship, as the only female team owner, Faye has been nurturing and backing talented girl racers for many years across various motorsport series, from two wheels to karting.

Experienced racer and former Guinness World Record holder Maria Costello MBE, also remains with the FHO squad for a second season. Part of the management team, Maria will use her years of racing knowledge as a mentor to the five girls to help develop their racecraft.

Faye Ho, Team Principal, commented: “I’m very happy to increase the support to the FHO Girls next year and now with Holly, Jamie, Scarlett, Denise and Kate aboard it’s going to be an exciting season. Denise and Kate are fast, talented riders and I know they’ll fit in well with the other girls.

“Growing and supporting females in this sport has always been something I have been passionate about, I love watching them learn and develop, which is the main goal for them and hopefully they can then make their way through the championships to one day race in BSB.

“I’m delighted to have the girls we have onboard, and with Maria continuing her role into 2023, I think we’re going to have a very interesting and exciting season!”

Maria Costello, Manager and Mentor, added: “It’s fantastic to be continuing in this role with Faye and the FHO Girls. Last year I came in towards the latter stages of the season, but it was invaluable regards learning what is needed to help these girls really succeed in this sport.

“I’m really excited to build on this and continue working with Holly, Scarlett and Jamie and very excited to welcome Denise and Katie to the team. I believe this line-up is hungry for success and there’s some real potential to do so. I’m very excited to be working with them all and support them as they aim for their goals.

“Obviously this role means the world to me as I’ve always wanted to see more young female talent in motorcycle racing and I can’t thank Faye enough for enabling me to be a part of this.”
