04 March 2022

Lee Hardy has announced VisionTrack as the team’s new title sponsor for the 2022 Bennetts British Superbike Championship.

Lee Hardy Racing has forged a new partnership, which will bring VisionTrack together with Kawasaki. VisionTrack Kawasaki are excited with the team’s recent signing of 2018 British champion Leon Haslam and his return to the series. The countdown is now on to their debut appearance at the first Official Test, taking place at the team’s home circuit of Snetterton later this month.

VisionTrack is already widely recognised within the British Championship paddock. The award-winning camera and video telematics provider has become a familiar brand due to their sponsorship involvement within BSB in recent years and through their support of young talent. .

The VisionTrack Kawasaki team will unveil their new livery in the coming weeks, as they prepare for the season opener at Silverstone over the Easter weekend (April 15-17).

The new partnership with Lee Hardy Racing in the British Championship comes on the eve of VisionTrack’s debut within MotoGP this weekend; VisionTrack will be fielding two young British riders in the Moto3 World Championship with the all-new VisionTrack academy team.

VisionTrack CEO Simon Marsh said: “We are huge supporters of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship and when Lee contacted me about the opportunity with Leon, and possibilities of title sponsorship, it was a very quick decision. Like all BSB fans we look forward to some very exciting racing in 2022.”

Team Owner Lee Hardy commented: “I am ecstatic with having secured VisionTrack as the team’s new title sponsor. VisionTrack are a state of the art brand and one, which I am proud to have an association with my team. VisionTrack brings a whole new dimension to my portfolio and one which I will nurture and together we will grow.

“This will be our sixth year with Kawasaki and it’s a relationship that has grown year on year. The team has had some amazing success with the brand and I am pleased we are back onboard the Ninja ZX-10 RR for another season. The Kawasaki is a formidable package within the Superbike class and that brings me on nicely to our new signing Leon Haslam. Not only did I need to negotiate a new title sponsor, I thought I would go the whole way and look at bringing Leon back to BSB to figurehead the team.

“Leon is an incredible talent and someone I have always wanted to work with. His fiery temperament and passion for racing is always on display and I like that. This is an opportunity for Leon to shine again and we are behind him and ready to deliver, he is very driven and wants to win and so do I.”
