Lee Jackson topped the Bennetts British Superbike Championship warm up session at Oulton Park this morning, as the FS-3 Racing Kawasaki rider pipped Kyle Ryde for the position at the top of the times by 0.047s.
The session which was briefly red flagged for crash debris after a fall for Bjorn Estment, ended with a flurry of fast laps before the chequered flag with Jackson surging to the top in the closing stages.
His FS-3 Racing Kawasaki teammate Rory Skinner was third fastest on the times, edging out Bradley Ray and Leon Haslam, as Team Green riders had a strong start to the Bank Holiday Monday action.
Andrew Irwin was the fastest of the BMW riders in sixth place, ahead of Josh Brookes and Ryan Vickers. Christian Iddon and Glenn Irwin completed the top ten ahead of race two and three this afternoon.
