Christian Iddon topped the opening Bennetts British Superbike Championship free practice at Snetterton this afternoon, with lap times tumbling as conditions improved towards the end of the session after an earlier shower.
The Buildbase Suzuki rider ended the session with a 1.755s advantage over Danny Buchan on the SYNETIQ BMW and Tom Sykes completed the top three for MCE Ducati.
The Rich Energy OMG Racing Yamaha pairing of Kyle Ryde and Bradley Ray held the next two positions in the order, with Andrew Irwin locking out the top six riders.
Jason O'Halloran and Josh Brookes ended the session in seventh and eighth respectively with Takumi Takahashi and Leon Haslam completing the top ten.
