Johnny Garness took the first win of the 2022 season as he beat Harrison Crosby to Honda British Talent Cup victory. Garness grabbed the holeshot at the start and led for the opening lap before coming under the usual BTC melting pot of pressure as several riders entered the fray.
As the lead swapped several times over the 22-lap race, Garness hit the front with two laps to go and managed to build enough of a gap to take a clear win by 0.788s over Crosby.
Third was Carter Brown, from Friday leader Kiyano Veijer as Ryan Hitchcock crossed the line fifth.
