David Shoubridge powered to the opening race win of the weekend as he beat title rival Tom Tunstall by 8.226secs.
From pole, the Rich Energy Ducati rider hit the front at the start and went unchallenged as he strolled to the win, as title rival Tom Tunstall finished second, ahead of Phil Atkinson.
Adon Davie was on course for fourth but was forced to retire on the final lap, handing the place to Mark Bridger as Max Lofthouse picked up fifth.
