David Shoubridge converted pole to a race win as he destroyed the field to take the opening victory by almost 14 seconds.
The Rich Energy Ducati rider beat title rival Tom Tunstall by 13.776secs in the Cadwell sunshine as racing got underway, with Blaze Baker taking the last podium place in third.
The fourth rider home was Mark Bridger, just ahead of Max Lofthouse.
