Kiyano Veijer edged out Johnny Garness to end the opening day of British Talent Cup action at the top of the timings.
Veijer clocked a best lap of 1.01:628s in the first practice session, a time which couldn’t be beaten later in the day, with Garness finishing just 0.057secs adrift. Behind, Julian Correa was third quickest, ahead of Carter Brown and Harrison Dessoy.
