Tommy Bridewell topped the Bennetts British Superbike Championship Free Practice 3 times at Oulton Park this afternoon, ahead of SUPERPICKS Qualifying and Race 1 at the Cheshire circuit.
Bridewell’s best lap came in the final ten minutes of the session, edging out Kyle Ryde on the Rich Energy OMG Racing Yamaha by 0.476s.
Ryde had gone to the top of the times in the closing stages, knocking Rory Skinner from the top but the pair had to settle for second and third respectively as Bridewell set the pace.
Lee Jackson was fifth fastest for the FS-3 Racing Kawasaki team, just ahead of Josh Brookes on the leading MCE Ducati. The double champion was just ahead of 2018 champion Leon Haslam in seventh place and Jason O'Halloran completed the top eight for McAMS Yamaha.
