Ryan Vickers maintained his position at the top of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship times in a damp final free practice at Cadwell Park, holding off reigning champion Josh Brookes ahead of the SUPERPICKS Qualifying session in just under an hour’s time.

Vickers had set the fastest ever two-wheel lap of Cadwell Park in the dry conditions yesterday afternoon, but was able to hold the edge in the damp this morning after an earlier shower.

Christian Iddon surged into third place in the final minutes of the session to have both VisionTrack Ducatis inside the top three, pushing Glenn Irwin into fourth after he had earlier been at the top of the times.

Tarran Mackenzie will have to progress through Q1 in SUPERPICKS Qualifying after a tough day yesterday for the McAMS Yamaha rider, he narrowly had the edge over teammate Jason O'Halloran this morning.

Lee Jackson was seventh fastest ahead of Dan Linfoot with Andrew Irwin and Gino Rea completing the top ten.
