The McAMS Yamaha riders kicked off the countdown to the Donington Park round of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship with a visit this week to The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium Hotspur in London, home of Premier League club Tottenham.
Championship leader Jason O'Halloran and Tarran Mackenzie joined fellow Monster Energy athletes including drifting stars Luke Woodham and Steve ‘Baggsy’ Biagioni, Touring Car driver Nicolas Hamilton and BMX athlete Ben Wallace at the Monster Athlete event.
Monster Energy have a sponsorship partnership with the Club, whose new stadium is now the third-largest football stadium in England and the largest club stadium in London, with a seating capacity of 62,850. The McAMS Yamaha riders even got the opportunity to check it out from above as they experienced the Dare Skywalk – at an incredible 46.8m above the pitch!
O’Halloran said: “We had a great day at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium so thanks to Monster and the whole team there for looking after us as it was an amazing facility. We did the Skywalk experience too, which was pretty cool and different for us!”
Mackenzie said: “It was a really good day at Spurs, it was my first time there and it was an incredible stadium and it was cool hanging out with the other Monster athletes. The skywalk certainly got the adrenaline going – it got the blood flowing being on the edge! Now we are ready to get things going at Donington Park this weekend.”
