Joe Sheldon-Shaw will return to the Bennetts British Superbike Championship grid at Oulton Park this weekend, joining iForce Lloyd & Jones BMW for the remainder of the season, starting at the team’s home round.
Former Superstock rider Sheldon-Shaw made his debut in the Bennetts BSB class earlier this year, and the 22-year-old from Sheffield is keen to replicate his point scoring ways on the BMW M 1000 RR over the remaining three rounds of the season.
Sheldon-Shaw said: “I would like to say a massive thank you to the team for this opportunity. We have already been testing on the bike and it was handling well. I am really hopeful we can replicate my result from Cadwell. Oulton Park is the team’s home round, we have everything to gain and nothing to lose.”
Development Director, Julian Mosquera commented: “We have been in talks with Joe for a while and with Keith announcing his retirement, we thought it was a good opportunity to give Joe the ride. PR is well known for bringing on young talented riders and we trust Joe will do a great job for us.”
