R&G continue Bennetts BSB partnership into sixth consecutive season in 2022

28 December 2021

While 2021 might only just be coming to a close, R&G is already in full planning mode for the 2022 Bennetts British Superbike Championship and will be returning as an Official Crash Protection Supplier to the series. Alongside this, R&G will again be supporting multiple teams throughout the paddock, as well as running its Paddock Support service / Technical Centre at each round.

Next year will mark the sixth consecutive season that R&G has sponsored the world-famous Bennetts British Superbike Championship, with the series acting as the perfect testing ground for its innovative range of crash protection products. Utilised by teams across the paddock in every class, R&G products play an essential role in helping riders and teams to minimise damage and costs following a crash, ensuring they can get out for the next session.

In addition to sponsoring the series, R&G also supports a number of teams across the paddock. In the Superbike class, the Hampshire-based brand is pleased to confirm it will be returning to support the MotoRapido Racing Ducati, TAG Racing Honda and GR Motosport Kawasaki teams, with more to be announced.

Alongside the premier class, R&G has always been keen to support the next wave of talent coming through. That is why it also supports multiple teams in other Championships, including Gearlink Kawasaki, True Heroes Racing and JR Performance, with other agreements in the works. R&G is also enhancing its Ducati TriOptions Cup and Honda British Talent Cup packages for 2022, with each rider eligible for a free set of R&G Race Series Engine Case Covers as well as an increased 50% discount on a range of essential crash protection and racing accessories.

2022 is set to be the crash protection specialist’s biggest ever year, and after its debut this year, the popular R&G Technical Centre will once again be returning. With a prominent position in the paddock, the centre will again see core suppliers in the paddock coming together to act as a one-stop shop for every racer and team.

Fresh from the presentation live on stage at Motorcycle Live, the R&G Rookies’ Trophy will also be running again next season, with more details announced in the new year.

R&G Managing Director Simon Hughes said: “Since our beginnings in 1999, racing has always been at the core of what we do at R&G. We are really excited to be returning as an Official Sponsor of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship once more and supporting teams and riders across the paddock. This year was an incredible season of racing, and we can’t wait to see what 2022 brings!”
