Jack Kennedy opened his Quattro Group British Supersport account at Snetterton in determined fashion after swapping the lead at the head of the timing screens with Ben Currie throughout an action packed FP1 session. The pair were noticeably faster than the rest of the pack throughout the session with the Australian and the Irishman switching several times. The session was halted with a red flag with seven minutes to go before being resumed. GP2 class rider Charlie Nesbitt was third fastest from Lee Johnston and Bradley Perie.
