Rhys Irwin took pole position in the Quattro Group British Supersport Championship, topping an incident packed qualifying by just 0.087s. Leading for much of the session, the Appleyard Macadam Yamaha rider held on at the end, with two red flags in the final minutes.
Series leader Jack Kennedy will start from second on the grid, just ahead of title rival Ben Currie. Bradley Perie eventually secured fourth place on the grid ahead of Lee Johnston and the first of the GP2 machines of Charlie Nesbitt.
