Casey O’Gorman claimed the maiden Honda British Talent Cup pole position, topping the timesheets on his last final lap. Holding the top spot for much of the session, he slipped back to third with just two minutes remaining.
Using his last flying lap, the youngster reclaimed pole by just 0.034s ahead of Brown, with Cook completing the front row. Buchanan was fourth, ahead of Belford and Garness.
