Harley McCable celebrated a double victory in the FIM MiniGP UK Series at Cadwell Park with the debut of the series at the Lincolnshire circuit.
McCabe got off to a flying start from the pole position and led the pack from Blake Wilson and Kobe Payne, as Freddie Bridewell crashed at Hall Bends.
McCabe continued to bridge the chasing pack with Wilson and Payne pushing for the podium positions.
Joel Greig had moved up to fourth, but soon was pushed back a position by Mullen as they continued to fight for the final positions inside the top five.
Soon Perry was also pushing the pair in the fight for fourth, but with five laps to go Payne crashed out of the race. That left Perry and Greig to dispute the final place on the podium.
McCabe won the opening race from Wilson by 5.187s with Wilson in second, whilst the battle for third went the way of Perry by just 0.100s as Greig just missed out in fourth. Mullen completed the top five.
In race two, McCabe again got the holeshot off the line to try and break the chasing pack with Wilson his closest rival. The MLav VisionTrack Academy rider was able to again edge out the advantage to make it a double win on the Woodlands circuit.
The battle for the final podium finish was again between Greig and Perry with Payne also in the mix. By half race distance, Payne had successfully moved up the order and into third place to push Greig and Perry back down the order.
Perry moved up to fourth with three laps to go, pushing Grieg into fifth, but with one lap remaining Payne crashed out of podium contention, handing the position to Perry with Grieg in fourth and Lewis Mullen promoted to fifth.
