Lee Jackson topped the times in the final Bennetts British Superbike Championship Warm-Up session of 2021, with a limited number of riders setting lap times amidst changeable circuit conditions with damp patches at Brands Hatch this morning.
Jackson’s set his best time of 1m35.214s was set on his final lap of the Grand Prix circuit as he completed a six-lap run onboard his FS-3 Kawasaki. Title Fighter Christian Iddon was second quickest on the leading VisionTrack Ducati, just 0.030s behind the leading time.
Peter Hickman completed the top-three on his FHO Racing BMW as he aims to end the season in strong fashion, one place ahead of Josh Brookes on his final day as reigning champion before a new recipient of the title later today.
Joe Francis was fifth quickest from Glenn Irwin, Gino Rea and Andrew Irwin, whilst Bjorn Estment and Joe Sheldon-Shaw completed the top 10. Neither championship leader, Tarran Mackenzie, nor his McAMS Yamaha teammate and rival Jason O'Halloran set times during the morning session.
