Johnny Garness claimed pole in the Honda British Talent Cup class, topping qualifying by almost half a second ahead of Casey O’Gorman. It was O’Gorman who led for much of the session, but Garness powered his way to top in the closing stages. Evan Belford was third, ahead of Buchanan and Walker.
