Evan Belford cruised away to victory in the opening Honda British Talent Cup race at Knockhill, crossing the finish line 8.2s ahead of the rest of the field. It was an action-packed race behind him though, with Johnny Garness holding second place but coming under incredible pressure from Cormac Buchanan and Harrison Crosby.
Over the closing stages, Buchanan and Crosby continued to trade place and on the run to the flag it was Crosby who claimed third place, with Cook, Jeffrey, Stuart-Campbell, Walker, Veijer and Lyons completing the top ten.
