Josh Day opened his winning account at the opening round of the Ducati TriOptions Cup at Donington Park today as the defending champion won the first race of the 2021 season.
Day launched into the lead and was untroubled at the front of the field, taking the chequered flag by over four seconds from Elliott Pinson and teammate Ed Best.
David Shoubridge was able to get the better of Chris Walker on the final lap to claim fourth place ahead of tomorrow’s second race.
