Johnny Garness took victory in the second Honda British Talent Cup race of the weekend at Snetterton in a frantic battle, with Casey O’Gorman and Evan Belford rounding out the podium.
It was Garness who made the best of starts, grabbing the holeshot and leading from the front after the opening lap with O’Gorman and Carter Brown chasing him down. It quickly became a five man battle at the front, but Garness continued to hold off O’Gorman at the front.
By half-race distance the leader began to increase his lead, but the number 67 rider quickly responded and took the lead on the very next lap. But then the battle quickly heated up, with Belford joining the fight. The trio swapping places until the flag with Garness getting the better of O’Gorman on the final lap.
