TAG Racing made their debut in the Bennetts British Superbike Championship in 2014 as they progressed to the premier class following five successful seasons competing in the British Supersport Championship.
The team scored a podium finish at Brands Hatch with Richard Cooper in 2015 and over the winter switched to the Yamaha YZF-R1 for the 2016 season.
The team came within three points of the title in 2017 with Josh Brookes and returned in 2018 with multiple race-winner James Ellison and Shaun Winfield. Following a tough year for the 2017 title runners-up after only one visit to the podium, the team had a new line-up in 2020 with reigning British Supersport champion Jack Kennedy joining Dan Linfoot; however the team ended the season early in preparation for 2021.
TAG Racing became an official Honda Racing UK supported team for the 2021 season, with Linfoot aiming for success on the new Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP, as Shaun Winfield lines up in the Pirelli National Superstock 1000 class.
