The Moto Rapido Ducati team progressed to the British Superbike Championship in 2011 after a season in the National Superstock 1000 Championship with Scott Smart.
Moto Rapido Racing, a small dealer-based team started by owner Steve Moore has been involved in club level racing with Ducati since 2003. They moved to national level racing in 2009 when Smart joined them to race the Ducati 1198 in the Superstock 1000 class. The team moved up to the Superbike Evo class in 2011 with Smart.
Tommy Bridewell joined the Winchester-based team midway through the 2018 season and since joining forces, together they have celebrated two race wins and a further 24 podiums in the Championship, with their strongest finish in 2019, when they ended the season in third place in the title fight.
Bridewell’s return to Moto Rapido Racing for this season follows the announcement from the team that they have extended their title partnership agreement with Oxford Products for a further two years into the 2021 and 2022 seasons.
