Seventh heaven for Kennedy at Knockhill!

Integro Yamaha’s Jack Kennedy regained the Dickies British Supersport Championship lead at Knockhill, after collecting his seventh victory of the season ahead of Brad Jones and Alastair Seeley.

Kennedy made the strongest of starts from the lights, leading the way from his teammate Brad Jones and Rory Skinner in third, but the Integro Yamaha duo began to pull away from the group behind.

Both Kennedy and Jones began to battle it out for the lead, pulling a five second lead over Ryde and Skinner who were duking it out for third on the track, Championship leader Alastair Seeley sat in fifth.

Jones then began to respond, as Kennedy started to pull a gap, with the young Yamaha rider setting a new lap record as he went in pursuit of the defending Champion with just ten laps to go.

But Kennedy held off the challenge from his teammate to take his seventh victory of the season, ahead of Jones and Seeley after Rory Skinner was forced to retire on the penultimate lap due to a technical issue.
