Redding back on top in warm up ahead of race one at Knockhill

Scott Redding topped the Bennetts British Superbike Championship morning warm up session at Knockhill this morning, heading off Peter Hickman by 0.284s to lead the pack ahead of race one in Scotland.

Danny Buchan had initially set the benchmark for FS-3 Racing Kawasaki ahead of Mackenzie but Redding was climbing the order and he hit the top of the times to hold off Hickman despite his improvement.

Mackenzie was fourth fastest for McAMS Yamaha ahead of Dan Linfoot on the Santander Salt TAG Yamaha and pole-sitter Xavi Forés for Honda Racing. The Spaniard narrowly edged out his teammate Andrew Irwin, who in turn edged out Josh Brookes and Tommy Bridewell with Christian Iddon completing the top ten.
