The 959 Panigale has been raced in the Ducati one-make championship for the last three years and will initially continue to be eligible in the championship alongside the new Panigale V2 for the 2020 season.

The new Panigale V2 was unveiled yesterday to a global audience at the World Premiere in Rimini, Italy by Claudio Domenicali, CEO of Ducati Motor Holding, who presented this and the rest of the new 2020 range.

The twin-cylinder Panigale has been comprehensively updated, renamed the Panigale V2, it takes on a totally new design. The V2 Panigale has a new fairing design, an under-engine silencer, which terminates in an extremely compact right-side-only end pipe and the double-sided swingarm has been replaced with a sophisticated, fully die-cast aluminium single-sided swingarm.
