MAXUS drives into new partnership with Bennetts BSB

The Bennetts British Superbike Championship is delighted to announce a partnership with Maxus, one of eight automotive groups within SAIC, a Fortune Global 500 company which produces almost seven million vehicles each year for both domestic and international markets.

MAXUS unites with Britain’s most prestigious motorsport series as the Official Commercial Vehicle Partner, joining forces with Bennetts BSB to promote the relaunched brand to the international market following SAIC’s £2 billion investment into the brand, having re-launched Maxus in April 2020.

MAXUS is the latest addition to the Bennetts BSB fleet, providing six high-roof, long wheel base DELIVER9s for event and track operations functions. They were recently delivered by the UK and Ireland distributor, The Harris Group, with the handover taking place at the new Harris MAXUS Warrington facility near to Oulton Park circuit in Cheshire.

The partnership will also showcase the MAXUS brand and range at each of the eleven Championship rounds, as they continue to build an innovative, globally-recognised company that actively promotes new energy vehicles. The MAXUS displays will feature within the circuit retail zones and with trackside branding throughout the 2021 season.

SAIC MAXUS UK sales manager Bill Laidlaw said: “This is a really exciting partnership for MAXUS and a great opportunity for us to showcase our game-changing flagship LCV panel van to an audience that understands and appreciates outstanding performance, high efficiency and superb reliability in all conditions.  An all-new platform vehicle, we are looking forward to supporting the BSB Championship with the MAXUS DELIVER 9 and wish all involved the very best of luck.”

Bennetts British Superbike Championship Series Director Stuart Higgs commented: “I am pleased to welcome MAXUS to the series as our latest premium vehicle manufacturer and partner. The operational teams deployed around our events rely on vehicles to perform various challenging roles. I look forward to working together this season to showcase this new partnership.”
