Law in ‘The Spirit’ with Moto Corsa ahead of Quattro Group British GP2 campaign

Mason Law has announced he will spearhead the Spirit Moto Corsa effort in the Quattro Group British GP2 class, returning to the series where he finished runner-up last season.

Law was a multiple race winner last season, scoring four wins and a further ten podium finishes so heads into his 2020 campaign feeling confident.

Law said: “Spirit Motorcycles were quite simply, one of the pioneers of the British GP2 class, so I’m obviously very pleased to be part of this regenerated effort, with the support of Moto Corsa as title sponsor.

“Last season I stepped into the class late in the day, on a very different package, that admittedly needed a lot of work, but I produced 14 podiums from the 18 races I lined-up in. We got two or three class wins, and also mixed it with the established Supersport guys for the overall podium positions on a regular occurrence. So on that basis, I will relish this new challenge with a very professional, well organised and highly motivated bunch of people.

“I know that everyone at Spirit Motorcycles and the workforce and management at Moto Corsa, will take great pleasure in the upcoming challenge in British championship with the new Spirit SP2 machine. We all cannot wait to get started.”

Spirit Team Principal Rod McDonagh commented: “Spirit is delighted to have signed Mason Law for the 2020 season, to ride our new Spirit SP2 motorcycle.  As well as being hugely talented and fast as a rider, Mason also brings his bike development skillset to our young team. With Mason providing first class input to Crew Chief Paul Neal and our Mupo Suspension engineer Nick Mundy, I believe Spirit will be a big presence on the grid this coming season.”
