Jackson set for second Superstock attack with FS-3 Racing Kawasaki

Lee Jackson will remain with the FS-3 Racing Kawasaki team for a second consecutive season, returning to fight for the Pirelli National Superstock 1000 Championship in 2019.

Jackson and the FS-3 Racing Kawasaki team ended the season in sixth place with the highlight of the campaign coming with a victory at his home round of Cadwell Park in addition to two further podium finishes.

Jackson said: “It’s great to have got my deal sorted for next year so soon after the last round as it means I can focus on getting myself best prepared for the 2019 season already.

“I can’t thank the team enough for the work this year and I’m looking forward to continue to work hard next year and fight for the championship. Staying in the same team for 2019 is good for consistency and means we can hit the ground running in pre-season testing.

“I would just like to thank Kawasaki UK, both Nigel and Darren at FS-3 along with all the team and personal sponsors for making 2019 happen.”

Team Principal Nigel Snook commented: “Lee and his FS-3 Racing Kawasaki ZX10-RR have been consistent front runners in this year’s Pirelli National Superstock 1000 Championship, including taking a race win at the Cadwell Park round.

“With an engine upgrade from Kawasaki for next year and that combined with the team’s close technical relationships with K-Tec suspension and top Kawasaki tuners MSS, we’re confident that Lee will have the equipment to be a contender for top honours in next year’s championship.’’
