Guiver takes fourth Ducati Tri-Options Cup victory of the season

Rob Guiver took victory in the opening Ducati Tri-Options Cup race of the weekend, holding off Sean Neary on the final lap.

The race was red flagged after just two laps due to a short flurry of rain, and it was re-run in dry conditions but declared a wet race.

From the lights for the re-run it was Sean Neary who grabbed the holeshot, but it was Guiver who led the way after the opening lap, with Neary and Day chasing the Essex man down.

After a safety car deployment on lap four, Guiver and Day went head to head with two laps remaining but it was the defending Champion who took victory from Neary with Day third.
