Dutch contender Hartog joins growing Quattro Group British Supersport Championship grid

2018 European Supersport champion Rob Hartog will make his debut in the Quattro Group British Supersport Championship this season with the Bike Devil MV Agusta team when the season gets underway at Silverstone this Easter (April 10/11/12).

Hartog’s previous experiences include the European Junior Cup, European Superstock 600 and the World Supersport Championship and he completes the team’s Supersport line-up alongside Jamie Perrin.

Hartog said: “I am very excited to start with Bike Devil MV Agusta in 2020. I have always found the BSB an awesome championship and although the tracks will be a challenge, I can’t wait for the season to start. Last week we have had the first test and I must say I am really excited about the F3 675! I want to thank Dave and my personal sponsors for this opportunity and I am sure we can achieve some great results together.”

Team Owner Dave Tyson commented: “We are pleased to announce the signing of Rob Hartog as part of the Bike Devil R4R Supersport team for 2020. Rob has been in the World Championship for the past few years and won the European Championship in 2018. The move to MV Agusta and to the series sees new tracks but also ones he has raced at before.

“Rob comes with years of experience of the Supersport class and he will work well alongside Jamie Perrin where we can have a real push with two high quality riders.”
