Countdown to the 2019 Bennetts British Superbike Championship at Motorcycle Live!

Anticipation is already building for the start of the 2019 Bennetts British Superbike Championship and visitors to Motorcycle Live at The NEC, Birmingham (November 17-25) will get the chance to meet the stars of the series throughout the show and during a dedicated Bennetts BSB Day on Saturday 24 November.

The UK’s biggest bike show, Motorcycle Live, will feature guest appearances from a host of riders on Bennetts BSB Day including Scott Redding as he prepares to switch to the series from MotoGP. He’ll join Be Wiser Ducati teammate and 2015 BSB champion Josh Brookes, who jets back from his home in Australia specially to be at the show.

2018 champion Leon Haslam will be meeting fans at the show following his success, whilst the title-winning JG Speedfit Kawasaki team has just returned from the opening test ahead of 2019 with new recruits Glenn Irwin and Ben Currie, who will be at the show representing Team Green.

The guest list will feature an array of 2018 podium finishers including Tommy Bridewell, James Ellison, Peter Hickman, Bradley Ray, Richard Cooper and Tarran Mackenzie, plus OMG Racing Suzuki’s Gino Rea and new team signing Luke Mossey. Christian Iddon, 2019 rookie and reigning Superstock 600 champion Ryan Vickers, plus Shaun Winfield, Fraser Rogers and Dickies British Supersport champion Jack Kennedy will also be attending the Bennetts BSB Day to meet fans.

The day will include a takeover of the Blackhorse Stage in the Eurosport Entertainment Zone with special guest appearances, and James Whitham will host on-stage Q&As with the riders, getting all the lowdown from another thrilling season of edge-of-your-seat racing.

Audience members will be able to submit their own questions for the riders on the day via the #AskWhitham hashtag and could also be in with a chance of winning one of four pairs of season tickets for the 2019 Bennetts British Superbike Championship. There will be the ever-popular Question of Bikes quiz, hosted by Steve Parrish, focused on Bennetts BSB seasons, teams and riders past and present.

The Bennetts British Superbike Championship will also host its own stand within the Motorcycle Live halls throughout the nine-day event, giving show visitors the chance to get even closer to the stars of the series with rider signings and appearances, plus the championship-winning race bikes from across the series.
