As we approach Christmas and the New Year, MSVR would like to thank everyone who has played a part and supported the 2025 Bennetts British Superbike Championship season from across the world.
We would like to thank all of supporters and fans around the globe for their continued support and passion, from those who watched the action live trackside throughout 2025, and the tens of millions of fans who tuned in to the action through our live and highlights broadcast packages on television. We also thank you for your interaction throughout the season across our social media channels.
Bradley Ray delivered some incredible performances in the early part of the season for Raceways Yamaha on their comeback, making Kyle Ryde’s successful title defence all the more impressive as he hunted him down in the second part of the season. But that doesn’t even begin to scratch the surface of the whole story of the season and there were a total of nine different race winners and a further nine podium finishers, with ten different teams featuring on the podium this year.
My congratulations to Kyle Ryde on successfully defending his title, the first time the champion has successfully retained their crown since 2017, and to Nitrous Competitions Racing for taking the championship victory.
We also had some incredible races and title battles across the support classes and we toast all of our support class champions. Thank you to all of the riders and teams across the Championships who continue to deliver some of the best racing action anywhere in the world, making the series one of the most globally respected and leading motorsport championships.
We also remember and pay tribute to both Owen Jenner and Shane Richardson; they are greatly missed within the racing community and will never be forgotten.
The show would simply not be possible without our race organisation officials, the dedication and skills of the Portwest Racesafe marshals and our incredible medical team.
Our sincere appreciation goes out to all of our commercial and media partners, who are an integral part of the series.
We now look ahead to the landmark 30th anniversary season in 2026 and with many team and rider changes; it makes for a truly enthralling prospect.
As we countdown to Oulton Park for the traditional season opener next May, I send my sincere thanks to all of our teams, riders, partners and officials for making the Championship a spectacle that continues to thrill fans around the world.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
Stuart Higgs
