Dear said: “I’m happy to join MLAV team for next season in BTC. I want to say thank you to the team for giving me the opportunity to race in 2026 with them. I want to say thanks to my family, sponsors, and RS ACADEMY for supporting me and helping make this happen. I will work hard to do my best in my first season racing in Britain.”

Nathan Smith, British Team Manager commented: “It's good to have returning faces and new faces within the team for 2026. We have a great mix of experienced riders, and also rookies to the championship.

“We have riders who capable of winning races consistently, who will ultimately have one aim, to win the championship. We have other riders that are looking to move up the grid and score consistent points after a promising 2025. Then we have the rookies who first and foremost have to learn the bike, the class and the team - who we will look to see progression through the year.”
