Seeley doubles up on Dickies British Supersport wins!

Alastair Seeley doubled up on Dickies British Supersport wins at Donington Park, grabbing victory in the Feature race with a last lap move on Brad Jones. With reigning Champion Jack Kennedy not racing due to a broken scaphoid, Seeley’s victory has seen him extend his lead at the top of the standings.

Kyle Ryde grabbed the holeshot to lead at the end of the opening lap, ahead of Seeley, Jones and Tom Oliver. Unable to hold on to the lead, Ryde slipped back to fourth leaving a trio at the front. At the half race distance, Seeley was leading Jones but by the time they started the last lap positions had reversed. Holding off the challenges of Seeley over the first half of the lap, the series leader was eventually able to drag his way past down the back straight to take the win. Oliver was also able to find a way past Jones to take second place.

Ryde was again the leading GP2 machine in fourth overall ahead of the Gearlink Kawasaki of Ben Wilson. Rory Skinner was sixth ahead of Charlie Nesbitt, Ross Twyman, Bradley Perrie and Jamie Perrin.
