QUATTRO PLANT FS-3 KAWASAKI PEDIGREE

The MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship welcomed a new team to the grid with FS-3 Racing last season, headed by businessman Nigel Snook.

The Coventry-based team purchased race-winning hardware from PBM; including the Kawasaki ZX-10 machines campaigned by Shane Byrne and Stuart Easton in 2015.

The team completed 2016 as a learning experience with Snook's friend and retired Ducati TriOptions Cup front-runner, Darren Fry playing a key role in guiding the team. The team return in 2017 with Billy McConnell and will also expand to field James Rispoli in the Pirelli National Superstock 1000 Championship and selected wildcard appearances.

We learnt a lot during our first year in the MCE BSB Championship and plan to put that experience to good use next season. I’m delighted that the team has attracted backing from Quattro Plant, who are great supporters of the series. “Billy is looking forward to a winter of hard training in preparation for riding our new Superbike and building on the progress he made with us this year. “James knows that next year’s Superstock Championship is going to be really competitive, particularly with increased manufacturer interest, but we are confident he will be running at the front. Towards the end of the season we hope to be able to enter James as a wildcard on a second Superbike too. “As a team, we can’t wait to get our testing programme started now ready for our second season.
