The Northern Irish TAS Racing team is managed by Philip Neill and the squad initially started competitive racing on the roads in 2001. Since their inception they have amassed an impressive résumé including lap records and wins at all the major road race events including the Isle of Man TT, North West 200 and the Ulster Grand Prix.
TAS Racing stepped up to the British Superbike Championship in 2008 after four successful seasons in the British Supersport Championship. The team moved to BSB as the reigning British Supersport champions with Michael Laverty. In 2008 Laverty proved that the Relentless Suzuki by TAS squad could mix it at the front with the already established teams in the paddock and they have becoming title contenders in the BSB class with Alastair Seeley securing the team the National Superstock 1000 and British Supersport titles in 2009 and this season respectively.
The team have been consistent podium finishers and have proven that they will be in contention for a maiden MCE BSB title. Brookes secured his place as a Title Fighter in the Showdown at Brands Hatch and Seeley just missed the race win at the season opener. The team socred their first double win at Donington Park with Brookes who finished every race of the season; the only rider in the championship to do so.
Brookes just missed out on the title in 2012, finishing runner-up to Shane Byrne but has already re-signed and will return in 2013 with the Tyco Suzuki team.
