The Metzeler National Superstock 600 Championship is designed to identify new riding talent and provide a progression route to higher classes of racing. This class is strictly for riders aged 16-25, the past three winners have progressed on to British Supersport and National Superstock 1000 rides with 2011 champion Keith Farmer, joining the Superbike grid in 2013 - the class is a great springboard to the British and World Championships.
Riders that finish the year in the top three of the championship are not eligible for the following season; this sees reigning champion Lee Jackson moving to the Pirelli National Superstock 1000 Championship with the Buildbase BMW team.
The 2013 entry list is again filling fast with riders including former Triumph Triple Challenge contender Tommy Dale and former MRO Stock Sport 600 champion Jordan Simpkin, plus many new names including Kawasaki Junior Cup champion Mason Law.
Class fast facts:
Track time: 1 x 25 minute free practice + 2 x 25 minutes qualifying practices + raceday warm up and 25 minutes championship race.
