Bennetts
The world's leading domestic Superbike series will continue to be known as the Bennetts British Superbike Championship for the fourth consecutive year in 2008. The nation's favourite bike insurance provider - which covers 180,000 UK motorcyclists - agreed title sponsorship with new championship rights holders MotorSport Vision.
Bennetts is keen to use its new relationship with MotorSport Vision to push the sponsorship further, provide a solid partnership for future success and gain increased coverage for the championship. In addition to the circuit branding, event hospitality and ever popular Bennetts Babes, BSB fans will see the introduction of two Bennetts Buell course bikes, which will accompany the safety car on its sighting laps ahead of every race.
Niall Mackenzie will be a guest rider for one of the 1125R course bikes at four key events across the season. The former three-times British Superbike Champion will provide pillion rides for celebrities, journalists and competition winners at Cadwell Park, Donington Park and both Brands Hatch race events.
The deal also strengthens Bennetts' involvement in motorcycle racing sponsorship. The nation's favourite bike insurance provider has also confirmed series sponsorship of the 2008 Superbike World Championship including title sponsorship of the two British events. Bennetts' personal sponsorship of British MotoGP contender James Toseland is also ongoing this year.
A new initiative launched in February also enables Bennetts to further extend its support of motorcycle racing at all levels. The Grass Roots referral scheme offers the potential for all motorcycle racers to increase their annual budget by encouraging friends, family and supporters to take out insurance policies with Bennetts.

The THINK! Motorcycle Academy Unit in the Trade Village continues into its second year. The Unit will be open on both qualifying and race day and will feature the new 2009 Superbike models from all the major manufacturers.

Pirelli
The inception of the new single make tyre rule means exciting but challenging times for Pirelli in 2008. The ruling was introduced to the series to ensure a fairer tyre supply and provide more of a level playing field, ultimately providing a closer, more thrilling race series.
Pirelli has developed a range of Diablo tyres for both the Superbike and Supersport championships, giving a choice of three different specifications of dry Diablo front and rear tyres. Wet and Intermediate tyre choices are also available across both championships in the form of the Diablo Rain and Diablo Wet products.
A team of 17 tyre technicians will supply and fit around 5500 Pirelli tyres for both BSB and BSS classes over a race weekend. The technicians are backed up by two technical co-ordinators who work directly with the race teams to advise and analyse throughout practice and qualifying.
The new 2008 Diablo tyres have been developed at World Championship level, in association with the 2007 World Superbike and Supersport Championships. All of the Diablo products that we use at the circuits are available over the counter as a customer tyre. Any customer using a 16.5' front wheel can source identical tyres via their local Pirelli stockist and utilise the exact same tyres as their racing heroes.

The sponsorship sees Wrigley reinforce their commitment to motorcycling in the UK, as they are already the title sponsor of the Airwaves Ducati team who compete in the championship.
The 'Airwaves® Kick Up A Gear™ Award' will be presented to the rider who has gained the most places from their qualifying position at each race over the course of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship season. Throughout the season each rider will receive points equal to the number of places gained at the end of each race. The most points accumulated throughout the season, over 12 rounds, determines the overall 'Airwaves® Kick Up A Gear™ Award' Award' winner who will receive a cheque for £4,000 from Wrigley's Airwaves.
Audi
Audi has been a valued supporter of the British Superbike Championship since the 1996 season, and their commitment continues into 2008with the agreement to supply the Safety, Medical and Course cars for the series. Each round of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship will see a fleet of nine Audi vehicles on duty. There will be two R8 Safety cars capable of 187mph, three A6 Avant 2.4SE Medical cars and an S3 Course car. Additionally the race winners will be presented on a victory lap at each event in an Audi A4 cabriolet. VIPs will be shuttled in two AudiQ7s.

British-owned leathers manufacturer BKS has signed a deal to become the Official Clothing Supplier to the 2008 British Superbike Championship. The agreement, which covers the supply of clothing to staff in the world's leading domestic series, will be the brand's first move into production of non-leather items.
BKS will also become a technical partner to the series in an effort to further improve rider safety in motorcycle racing. All crash damaged clothing will be assessed by BKS staff following accidents during racing and testing. Results and recommendations from the analysis will be made available. The information will also be used to further improve the quality of BKS retail products.
