Pre-season thoughts on 2009: "I think 2009 should be a good season, not only for me but also for the SMT Honda team. I now have some experience in BSB after racing at the last three rounds so I know what to expect. I am coming back to the UK at the end of January so that I can settle in and then we start pre-season testing in Spain in February. The testing should put us further forward so that we start the season in a stronger position."

"I think that learning the other new circuits is just going to be a small piece of the puzzle. I am sure there will be tracks we go to where we will have to work hard at, but with some testing completed and a good base set-up from there I think we have a strong starting place. I am confident in myself and the team that we can continue where we left off in 2008."
