Pre-season thoughts on 2009: "I'm delighted to have joined Red Viper Racing and I can't thank Gary and Ady enough for giving me this chance. I had a torrid end to the 2008 season and can't wait to get back on a competitive bike to regain my confidence. I'm under no illusion that this will be one tough year ahead, but I'm sure with a team like Red Viper, a bike like the new Fireblade and some serious winter training, I can bag some podiums in the Cup competition. I can't wait to get out there."
