PBM celebrate eighth title victory and Ceratizit Teams Trophy

VisionTrack Ducati celebrated title glory at Brands Hatch with the PBM team scoring an unprecedented eighth championship crown as Josh Brookes reclaimed the number one plate.

Brookes celebrated a double win at the season finale in Kent, taking his winning total during the season to five, with an additional five podium finishes from the 18 race season to give him a 21-point lead over his closest rival.

On the opposite side of the garage, Christian Iddon bagged his first race win in Bennetts BSB, adding a further seven podium finishes to his campaign, ending the season third in the 2020 standings, giving the team the edge in the Ceratizit Teams Trophy league.

Team Owner Paul Bird, said: “The final round went to plan and congratulations to Josh who rode impeccably under such pressure. He never buckled at all and he deserves the championship.

“Well done to Christian too, he’s been a pleasure to work with this season and third in the final standings is a great achievement on his first year in the team. That’s eight titles and 123 race wins now so thanks to our sponsors, my friends and my family and a special mention for my dad, without whose help none of this would be possible so this one’s for him.”
