O’Halloran leads Brookes in Oulton Park warm up

Jason O'Halloran topped the Bennetts British Superbike Championship warm up session at Oulton Park, setting the fastest time in the losing stages to displace Josh Brookes from the top ahead of Round 11 in Cheshire.

O’Halloran heads into the next race this afternoon determined to replicate his form of yesterday when he claimed his first victory of the season. The Australian held an advantage of 0.510s at the chequered flag from Brookes with Kyle Ryde in third place as he bids to make amends after a crash in race one yesterday afternoon.

Luke Mossey had a strong session to finish fourth on the timesheets for the Rich Energy OMG Racing BMW, narrowly ahead of Peter Hickman who surged up the order for the Global Robots BMW team.

Christian Iddon on the second of the VisionTrack Ducatis was sixth fastest ahead of Danny Buchan, who claimed his first podium finish of 2020 yesterday for Rapid Fulfillment FS-3 Kawasaki, and Andrew Irwin.

Bradley Ray and Héctor Barberá completed the top ten ahead of the next two rounds of the championship this afternoon.
