Chris Moffett will join the HEL Performance British Junior Supersport Championship this season, joining the Team Evergreen line up for the 2021 campaign.

Moffett began racing in 2015, competing in the Aprilia Superteens before competing in club level races, where his success included winning the Post Classic Championship and finishing runner-up in the 400 Championship on the Isle of Man.

In 2019, Moffett made his debut in the British Junior Supersport Championship class, competing in four events, after returning to racing for the first time in two years. Last year, he competed at home on the Isle of Man, winning the 400/500 Championship.

Moffett said: "I’m really looking forward to getting started with Team Evergreen and seeing what we can achieve as a team. With the added bonus of having Matt Taylor Suspension helping me and giving me the bike set up that works, I am hoping that I can do Team Evergreen proud.”

Team Owner David Shelton commented: “Out of all the riders that we reviewed for our additional Junior Supersport ride, Chris was the one that stood out the most. Not only has his ambition given him great results, breaking lap records back on the Isle of Man, but for a young man his attitude toward racing was very impressive. We are looking forward to working together this season.”
