Currie grabs first pole of the season by just 0.027s!

Gearlink Kawasaki’s Ben Currie stormed to his first Dickies British Supersport pole position of the year at Assen, beating Championship leader Keith Farmer by just 0.027s. With the circuit quickly drying, it was a flurry of fast laps towards the end of the session that would decide pole, with Eemeli Lahti holding provisional pole initially, before Andrew Irwin and Farmer both set fastest laps. Eventually it was Currie who claimed top spot, with Irwin completing the front row in third. David Allingham was fourth ahead of Lahti and Ross Twyman.
