Buchan tops final free practice session ahead of Datatag Qualifying

Danny Buchan topped a damp final Bennetts British Superbike Championship free practice session at Brands Hatch this morning, edging his Rapid Fulfillment FS-3 Kawasaki 0.325s ahead of Andrew Irwin on the Honda Racing Fireblade.

Several riders opted to remain in pitlane during the session but the positions changed throughout the final practice, but it was Buchan who emerged on top at the chequered flag.

Kyle Ryde pushed his way into third in the closing stages of the session to push Josh Brookes into fourth; the VisionTrack Ducati rider had been on top of the times in the closing ten minutes.

Gino Rea completed the top five for Buildbase Suzuki ahead of Peter Hickman on the Global Robots BMW.
