Booth-Amos takes victory in hectic Motostar battle

City Lifting RS Racing KTM’s Tom Booth-Amos has taken his second victory of the season, picking up the pieces after Elliot Lodge and Taz Taylor both crashed out of the lead, with Jake Archer taking second and Storm Stacey third.

It was Stacey who grabbed the holeshot as the race got underway, but then the battle commenced for the lead with a group of five riders duking it out. It was Taylor who held the lead until he crashed out at Clearways on lap ten, leaving Lodge with no room but to crash out over the stricken bike.

Booth-Amos was handed the lead on lap 12, after the leader McManus also crashed out, keeping his team mate Archer at bay for the remainder of the race, crossing the line to take his second win of the season, with Storm Stacey handed third after Richard Kerr crashed out on the final lap.
